The Doctor Returns
This weekend, The Doctor returned to the airwaves and it couldn’t of been better. The premiere was fantastic, and I can’t wait for the rest of the new series. After being so smitten with the premiere, obviously iPhone wallpapers were in order.
Over the course of the new series I’ll definitely be making more, but for now, here’s the first batch! Enjoy!
Miranda Lawson
Like many others, I’m deeply in love with the Mass Effect universe. The games, the music, the books…the women. It doesn’t hurt that I’m also deeply in love with Yvonne Strahovski. Lucky for me, my two loves come together in the character of Miranda Lawson, who Strahovski portrays in Mass Effect 2.
Needless to say, when I saw the beautiful Mass Effect art Patryk Garrett created, Miranda’s stood out to me the most. Long story short, I wanted it as my iPhone wallpaper, so I made it happen. I had to do a bit of editing for it to display nicely on the lock screen, but the end result is sexy! Enjoy.
That’s a Phoney Sparrow!
I tried Sparrow for Mac for the first time yesterday, and I’m smitten. It’s easily my favorite Mail client. Considering my email goes through Google Apps, this works absolutely perfectly. It looks great, it’s super fast and lightweight, and…well…that’s enough, isn’t it?
Now that it’s earned a spot in my dock, I obviously had to make a Phoney icon. So here it is. Enjoy!

Phoney for Twitter for Mac
With the launch of the Mac App Store today, Twitter for Mac launched as well. It’s a fantastic update/replacement for Tweetie Mac. Loren & Co. have hit it out of the park, and as usual, I want to compliment their work with a piece of my own.

Reeder for Mac Phoney icon!
Since Reeder for Mac’s beta is now public (and really kickass), I obviously needed a Phoney icon. Hell, I didn’t even realize it was out until Josh Bryant asked me for a custom icon!
Well I’m glad he asked, because now I’m using the nicest RSS reader I’ve played with. And I’ve made a cool looking icon!

Special Soundtrack Release
60 Tracks in MP3 Format
I randomly wanted to listen to this soundtrack and found there was no coherent release available online. The only things I found were random tracks with one word names of the levels they represented. Sometimes they only had numbers or letters to signify which part of the game they were from. Being an incredibly OCD music lover, I decided to scour the internet to make the most complete version available.
Another unique aspect of this compilation is the inclusion of several alternate takes and bonus tracks. The majority of the (Alt) versions are compositions by Grant Kirkhope that he’s posted online. These versions are early compositions before being compressed and looped in the game. They’re higher quality and really enjoyable.
The other bonus tracks are multiplayer levels and “Perimeter”, an unreleased track that never made it into the game.
The tracks should be all labeled correctly and sorted in the right order. If you find any discrepancies…let me know. I’m not too worried about it though. Since I wanted to finish off this release with my personal touch, I wanted to compliment it with my own album art.
Overall I’m excited to distribute this since it’s been impossible for me to find a decent copy of this soundtrack until now. I hope you guys enjoy it.
