This is not only the most incredible television promo video I’ve ever seen, it’s also the most poignant in revealing things about the show. We’ve all known there were biblical implications and this does everything to reaffirm it.
Brilliantly edited, perfect music, I LOVE THE CHESS THEME, it fits so well all the way back to Season One with Locke and Walt playing backgammon, the black and white, good and evil. Jacob and his enemy, the stones Jack found on the corpses in Season 1 (Black and White) and so much more! Not to mention the hand of ‘God’ placing the final piece down, i.e. the statue, Jacob’s home. This commercial got me so excited for the finale, and even more excited to watch the entire series over again.
I’ve said it before, LOST is easily my favorite show ever, and this commercial reminds me why in all the right ways. I seriously get chills when I watch this. I’ve watched it over and over and I get chills every time.
Sarah Connor Chronicles
I’ve been saying this for a while, but this week’s episode solidified it. I am going to probably ignore Terminator: Salvation’s story in the Terminator continuity and treat it like an alternate timeline.
Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles is too fucking amazing to be written off by a big budget sequel. The show’s writing & story gives the Terminator canon more eloquence, brains, and emotions than it truly deserves. I have a horrible feeling that it won’t get renewed for a third season, and it seriously breaks my heart.
My only hope is that the writers decide to continue the story in either book form or comic book form. I want to see how this version of Terminator plays out, the story is just too fucking good.
That, or give us a damn Season 3!
Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles is honestly one of the best science fiction shows of all time; probably only second to Battlestar Galactica.
Everyone ignoring it is missing out a whole lot.
